Everyone needs a bit of hope in their life......  especially children with Type 1 diabetes - an autoimmune condition that affects over 29,000 children in the UK alone.  During their lifetime a Type 1 diabetic will have around 65,000 insulin injections and test their blood sugar levels (by pricking their finger) over 80,000 times.
JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) funds research  and provides support and information to families who have children suffering from this condition.  My daughter is one of them and I will donate £5 from the sale of each hope bag.  For more information on their amazing work, please go to www.jdrf.org.uk
